Recently I made the picture below.

A picture with two sights through each other, outside through the window and a reflection inside, what was behind me.God determined me that life is often the same. We see much of wat is behind is, what happened in the past, and it dominates the things that are in front of us.

It reminded me that I should have taken a photo with a polarization filter, a filter that reduces reflections so the sight in front is better.
Isn’t this what the Bible tells us? Paul says in Fil. 3: 13 “but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
The Bible wants to be our polarization filter, to filter the reflections from the past, the old human has died (romans 6:6) and we tail the One who walks before us, the Lord Jesus Christ (Hebrews 3:1)

Now it is up to us, what will we do? Are we looking at ourselves, at our lives with or without the filter of the Bible.
